I wasn't looking forward to trudging up this mountain, especially with the fresh snow. I was expecting to be stumbling
through loose snow, but a melt/freeze cycle firmed the snow up delighfully. The upper mountain was covered in a spectacular
layer of rime, making it look like the high Andes. From the col I picked steeper lines and enjoyed great step kicking
to the summit. A tour helicopter did fly bys every half hour checking on our progress. It's too bad there's no
ground signal for "fuck off."
